Louella B. Havel, 96, of Broomfield passed away in her home August 29, 2012. Preceded in death by husband Frank Havel and daughter Cynthia Jean. Survived by daughters Judy Shelley and Carol Erickson; 6 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Memorial service scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 3:00pm in the Rundus Funeral Home chapel.

Our loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Robert Patrick Crandal of Longmont, Colorado returned home to his Heavenly Father on August 28, 2012.
Robert “Bob” Crandal was born June 10, 1923 in Oklahoma City, OK to Mansel F. and Flora Leona (Carr) Crandal. At 4 months of age his parents moved to San Antonio, Texas. He spent the next years in various places in Texas, through High School. He married Ruth Brenchley on July 1, 1944 in Logan, Utah, later solemnized in the Logan Temple. He bought his first home in Sacramento, CA where he raised his family. In 1976 he moved to Bountiful, Utah where he lived until he moved to Longmont in 2009.
Bob served in the U.S. Army and then became a quality control engineer for the Air Force for over 35 years. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Bishop when he lived in Sacramento, California. Bob was an avid golfer with a single digit handicap in his prime. He enjoyed the game of golf well into his 80’s.
He is survived by his beloved wife Ruth of Longmont; a son, Raymond Crandal and wife Heidi of Newport Coast, CA; a daughter, Annette Thorsted and husband Wayne of Berthoud, CO; eleven grandchildren: Mac, Paul, Staci, Ryan, Brent, Tyler, Jana, Allison, Christian, Michael, and Patrick; and by 16 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Richard T. Crandal, his parents, a brother, Terry Crandal, and his sister, Drina Mumme.
The family would like to thank the loving staff at Longmont United Hospital for the special care he received the last days of his life.
A memorial services will be held on October 13th at 11am, 1350 North 650 East, in Bountiful, Utah.
